I guess I will start with a little about my racing.
I started crewing for my dad at the age of 14, on his 60's Super Modified.
His super had been sitting as a bare frame behind the garage as far back as i could remember. It had taken a whole year to put it back together due to lost parts over the years, and adapting some newer technology. It was frustrating at times, but money could never buy that kind of experience and education! Especially after the 3rd place run on his first night back in the car. I couldnt have been more proud!
Near the end of the 1988 season, My Dad purchased my 74 nova factory stock in merced. I went with Nascar Ralph to pick it up. Ralph made me load it on the trailer. what a rush! lol. That nova, brought my Dad and i very close together over the next few years. As it brought me a rookie of the year my first half season, multiple wins at Pearsonville, Victorville, Bakersfield, Porterville, Pahrump, Adelanto and Tulare. With respectable runs at Perris, Santa Maria, Temecula, Tonapah, and a few others. That nova also made us alot of great friends, as well as a few enemies im sure. After rolling it over leading a super street heat race at Pearsonville in 1998, we finally sold it and moved on. What a great ride though!
My next car was a 77 cutlass. built it for a friend, then bought it. I won the first 4 races i drove in that car, and ended on a 1999 championship at pearsonville. that was the first time i stayed at one track for a whole season. I still have the cutlass, and it will run again very soon.
From 00 to 09, my racing was limited. maybe 2 or 3 races a season. Took that time to meet my wonderful wife Aarin, and start a life.
Then in 2010, a whole new chapter began! More to come!
